What about poems?
Hello everybody :)
As you know, during these classes we have been talking about Literature and we have learnt many things about it.
But... What about poems?
Poetry is one of the most important parts of Literature.
Poetry is a form of literary art which uses aesthetic and rythmic.
Sometimes, we forget that Poetry exists and that students must know what is it.
if you are interested in Poetry for children, here you have a blog where you can find a lot of poems.

Hi Itxi!!
ResponderEliminarI´m completely agree with you, poetry is one of the most important part of Literature. For these reason we can not commit the same mistake that our teachers in the pass did. Nowadays the most of the people that you ask about Poetry will tell you that they don´t like it.
This situation is very common because of the methodology teachers used with us. We had to read the poem, analyze it, discover what the author wanted to say with it, identify the resources... All that we had to do with poetry stinked out!
For these reason we have to change the methodology in class about the Poetry. Because Poetry is feeling, is charm, is ourselves.
In my blog you could find other ways to use poetry in class.
Thank you for the website and for your blog.
Regards-
Isa
What kind of things are we doing with poetry in class? Why? How can you apply them to CLIL contexts? Which are the benefits of using poetry? Which of the activities proposed in the blog you quoted are more interesting? Why?... :)
